| Abstract | As China's 'anju' low cost housing programme forges ahead, more and more foreign developers are beating a path to the mainland to join in. In October 1996, Hong Kong-listed Kerry Properties, Wharf (Holdings) and Lai Sun Development, and Dutch company ING Real Estate International, followed in the footsteps of developers such as New World Development and Henderson Land Development and pledged to participate in housing projects on the mainland. |
