AbstractThe Emperor Hotel, in Happy Valley in Hong Kong, has re-opened after a comprehensive $110 million refurbishment project which transformed the property into a boutique-style hotel: equipped with first class facilities but retaining an intimate scale. Developer Mark Pleasure Investment (a subsidiary of Emperor International Holdings) describes the 7,734 square metres hotel's new look as 'rational, unpretentious and with a hint of classical elegance.'
