| Abstract | The market for the decoration and furnishing industry is upbeat and the outlook will be bright into the 21st century, an industry analyst said. Over the five years before 1996, the decoration industry has been rising at an annual rate of 30 per cent. Within the five years after 1996, approximately 200 million square metres of housing will be added to thousands of cities and towns in the country, prompting nearly 4 million households to move into new homes, according to statistics from the Ministry of Construction. |
