| Abstract | Even though there are so many benefits, the rate of breastfeeding is still low not only in Hong Kong, but also in the rest of the world. Dr. Sophie S.F. Leung of the Paediatrics Department at the Chinese University specifically pointed out that there is a lack of support service in local public hospitals. In view of this, the Prince of Wales Hospital has started to run a bedside assistance program to teach breastfeeding techniques, as well as a hotline service about breastfeeding and a support group. |
