Abstract | Although the Queen Maud Secondary School has not participated in the School Management Initiative Scheme (SMI), it has made significant achievement in the professional development of teachers. The school was situated in Rennie's Mill in 1988 and was then moved to Hau Tak Estate in Tseung Kwan O in September 1993. As the school aims to improve the quality of learning and teaching, its major concern is professional and curriculum development. In this article, Mr Yau Yat-heem, the principal, and Mr Lo Wai-sing, the teacher-in-charge of the teacher development programme are invited to share their experience with the readers. |
