Abstract | A very short timescale, a severe lashing by the worst of Hong Kong's weather, unexploded bombs and a number of unmarked graves all added to the problems of constructing Hong Kong's first ever public golf course on the island of Kau Sai Chau, just a few hundred yards from the coastline of the New Territories. The aim of construction was to create a golf course which not only blended with the natural land form but would at the same time be a 'model' golf course in terms of the environment. |
