| Abstract | Nikkei Electronics' move from Tokyo to Hong Kong in 1994 has proven fruitful as it extends its reach into China. The publication currently only has an audited circulation of 1,000 in China, but the future holds "great potential". Feasibility studies are currently underway to gauge climate for starting new titles in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand in the areas of electronics and computers. The long-term goals of Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. (Nikkei BP) will see further diversification of its interest outside Japan. |
