| Abstract | A 23-person delegation led by Mr. Paul MP Chan, and joined by four other Smaller Practitioner Committee members, visited Guangzhou and Shenzhen on 17-18 June 1996. This was the first visit to China organised by the Hong Kong Society of Accountants for members in the practising sector. The purpose of the visit was to provide a forum for practising members, particularly the smaller practitioners, to meet with their counterparts in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The delegation also visited the Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants (GICPA) and the Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants (SICPA). |
