| Abstract | A twelve-member delegation, led by Mr. John Gracey, convenor of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants' Financial Services Interest Group, and Council member, Mr. Patrick Yeung, completed a study mission to Taipei on 3-6 July, 1996. The objectives of the Study Mission were to provide delegates with an opportunity to gain an understanding of the functions and regulation of the financial markets in Taiwan, as well as the corporate taxation system and other issues affecting foreign companies involved in, or considering involvement in, providing financial services in Taiwan. |
