| Abstract | The author expresses his views on Hong Kong. He features that Hong Kong's routine idea of manners - people's habits when interacting with strangers - is going to be helpful in attracting visitors. Hong Kong people have Hong Kong manners. The point is that by international standards these are brisk, businesslike and perhaps a bit remote. There are other places where the locals are brusque with each other, but they have accepted that visitors have to be treated differently. |
