| Abstract | Following the introduction of the "School Management Initiative" (SMI) scheme, the Education Affairs Department of the Po Leung Kuk has expressed the hope that its secondary schools could voluntarily participate in the first pilot scheme. As the expectations of the "SMI" on school self-management was similar to the objectives that the Po Leung Kuk 1983 Board of Directors' College had long been striving for and the implementation of the sheme should not cause too great an impact, the school volunteered to participate. The Principal says that there have not been much difficulties in joining the scheme. |
