| Abstract | During the past 12 months before September 1996, Hong Kong has taken great strides in liberalizing its - already relatively open - telecommunications market. This, combined with Hong Kong's position as an Asian leader in the use of telecommunications technology, has opened many new opportunities for Hong Kong companies. Hong Kong's traditional strengths in services, from finance to publishing, marketing, design and management, as well as the high level of openness in its economy give it tremendous competitive advantages in this new market. |
