Abstract | In this article, the author comments on three publications, in which all of them are about the returning of Hong Kong's sovereignty to China. "Red Flag Over Hong Kong" is a collection of opinion backed up by virtually impenetrable political modeling. "Hong Kong, China's Challenge" is a summary of the issues, problems, and paradoxes arising from the return of territory after 156 years of foreign administration, while "The Hong Kong Reader: Passage to Chinese Sovereignty" concentrated on topics like the decolonization of Hong Kong education, economic integration with Guangdong province and Sino-British relations. |
