| Abstract | The only reason for making an investment is the return, or potential return, which that investment will provide. All major public companies are vibrant and resilient, and generally keep increasing profits. There is no reason why their investment income per share should be at a lower rate than bonds, even without the powerful argument of inflation. Over any period their earnings yield becomes greater, whilst bond yields remain stagnant. |
