| Abstract | On their way home from Japan after a conference for aquariumologists, the Europeans, directors of their respective city aquariums, were paying a courtesy visit to Hong Kong's Ocean Park. By the end of the tour, what most impressed the professionals was something they saw at the very beginning down in the low-lands - the goldfish. This article introduces the wide varieties of goldfish collections in Ocean Park, which were claimed, by the Europeans, as one of the finest goldfish collections in the world. |
