| Abstract | Real improvement in industrial safety can be achieved only with joint effort from employers and employees, said the Secretary for Works, Mr H.S. Kwong. Speaking at the launching ceremony of the 1996 Airport Core Programme (ACP) Construction Safety Award Scheme, Mr Kwong said the Government was very concerned about the recent spate of industrial accidents and was strengthening and implementing measures to promote industrial safety. The strategies of the Government in enchancing the construction site are summarized in this article. |
