| Abstract | While praising Hong Kong's generally high standard of medical care, Australia's leading paediatrician, Australian Chinese Dr Yu - recently voted 1996 Australian of the Year - thinks local health authorities should show "more concern" for the psychological support of hospitalized child patients. Another physician from Hong Kong's Princess Margaret Hospital believes a customized children's hospital with full services would be a good idea. He agrees with Dr Yu that psychological support of children needs to be improved. |
