| Abstract | The world economy outlook for 1996 looks set to follow 1995's pattern of modest growth in the industrialised world and faster expansion in developing economies. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council's "Trade Outlook for 1996" report cited Hong Kong's healthy export performance in 1995. Total exports rose 16% year-on-year in the first ten months, motivated strongly by Asian trade. |
