| Abstract | In a survey recently conducted by the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham), 98% of respondents said that their companies will be in Hong Kong in the year 2000. Most agree that China's business environment will remain the same or improve but, there continues to be concerns over a number of social and legal issues in Hong Kong. The survey indicates a high degree of commitment to Hong Kong and China by BritCham members and a strong belief that China's business environment will improve. |
