| Abstract | Supply Chain Management (SCM), in terms of reducing cost and improving service level, has proved to be the most effective means of remaining competitive in today's and tomorrow's market place. In order to promote this best business practice in Hong Kong in the most appropriate way, the Hong Kong Article Numbering Association (HKANA) commissioned the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to conduct a survey on the understanding and opportunities of Supply Chain Management in 1995. The results are reported in this article. |
