| Abstract | Informationization in today's enterprises has developed to a new stage, a stage where inadequate information technology (IT) support service can bring an organisation to a standstill. This article attempts to discuss the problems of support, and suggests ways of re-engineering both internal and external IT people. It is predicted that support services will become a new business opportunity emerging in the IT industry. |
