| Abstract | DuPont announced on 20 October 1995 that it will form a joint venture to produce polyester yarn in China. A US$115 million company, DuPont Suzhou Polyuester Co. Ltd, will build and operate a plant in Suzhou in Jiangsu province, to supply polyester chip and filament yarn, primarily for the domestic market, from mid-1997. Capacity will be 66,000 tonnes annually. |
