| Abstract | In recent years Taiwan's clothing and clothing accessories industry has suffered repeated periods of instability. In particular the ups and downs of wool and acrylic sweater and other knitwear production have aggravated this instability. However, since 1987 the industry has shown a continuous decline in both export values and relative share. A plan has been laid out for the domestic textile industry over the next ten years, its main points are listed in this article. |
