| Abstract | Statistics released by the China National Textile Council show the cotton allocation situation in 19 major textile producing provinces and cities during January-April 1995 as very uneven. The allocation during September-December 1994 went quite smoothly, but in early 1995 most textile producing provinces and cities received only 40-60% of the cotton officially allotted, including Tianjin, Shanghai, Jilin, Shanxi, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Gansu and Ningxia. |
