| Abstract | Singamas Container Holdings Ltd, Hong Kong, one of the world's leading container manufacturers and container depot operators, has further broadened its scope with the opening of a new plant in Shanghai for the manufacture of reefer containers. The new facility, known as Shanghai Reeferco, started production in May 1996 with a workforce of 400 and an initial target of 100 units a month. |
