| Abstract | There are two universities, two polytechnics and some postsecondary colleges in Hong Kong. However, their entry requirements are quite different depending upon the institution and the level of the course to be followed. This article reports on a study which aims to find out which entry qualification, HKAL (Hong Kong Advanced Level) or HKCE (Hong Kong Certificate of Education), has a closer relationship to the subsequent overall academic performance. |
