| Abstract | On May 24, 1996, there was a grand opening ceremony to mark the foundation of Tri-Gold - a new company jointly established by Mitsubishi Metal, The World Jewellery Co Ltd, and a well-known jewellery manufacturer from Japan. The World Jewellery is mainly responsible for the administration and management of Tri-Gold because the company has better connections in China - whereas the two Japanese companies will concentrate on the technological improvements and maintenance of machinery. As for the actual jewellery manufacturing, the three firms will work together. |
