| Abstract | Hong Kong's largest-ever delegation to Basel '95 - the World Watch, Clock & Jewellery Show in Switzerland - achieved a record HK$2.2 billion in total business, helped by strong buyer interest from emerging markets in South America. The Hong Kong Pavilion, mounted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, featured 245 companies displaying fine jewellery, pearls and gemstones as well as watches and clocks made to innovative new designs. |
