| Abstract | Work on one of Hong Kong's major infrastructure projects, the extension to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, is making good progress for on-schedule completion in mid-1997, according to the Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC), Dr. Victor Fung. Moreover, the HK$4.8 billion government-funded reclamation and extension project, which is designed to strengthen Hong Kong's lead as Asia's trade fair capital, is proceeding within budget. |
