| Abstract | In July, 1995, Kwun Tong residents were informed that the site they thought was for a community centre or a school is now intended for a large-scale clinic. Construction costs have also increased from $32 million to $254 million. Also, the residents were not consulted on this change of land use and they subsequently demanded the clinic be located somewhere else. The author who is a member of the Kwun Tong District Board expresses his view in this article. |
