Abstract | Advertising agency media operations have taken centre stage in Asia with the decision of Ogilvy & Mather to set up its own media specialist company, to be called The Network. The establishment of The Network comes in the wake of a rash of media initiatives from other agencies, such as the setting up media specialists Batey/CIA Medianetwork in Singapore, Carat in Hong Kong and the high-tech retooling of media departments in leading multinational agencies. |
