| Abstract | If there is a dangerous slope behind a private building and the owners have ignored the Geotechnical Engineering Office's notification of the need for action, the office has the option to carry out the work anyway and chase the owners for payment afterwards. Private building owners, however, would do well to carry out the work themselves, considering the danger to which they are subjecting themselves and their families by failing to do so. |
