| Abstract | One of China's seven major economic regions, the Bohai Bay, is expected to see its most rapid growth over the next 15 years. The State Planning Commission, which has just completed a comprehensive study of the region, believes that the development potential of a certain area depends on its natural resources and its scientific and technological level. In all this the Bohai region in northern China takes first place. |
