| Abstract | To qualify as an Associate member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, an applicant has to possess a minimum of three years' relevant practical experience. However, external audit experience is also accepted to submit their associateship applications. To assist in the evaluation of external audit experience, three facets of external audit work have been identified, including statutory audit, management of audit activities and consultancy. This article provides more details on the three aspects. |
