AbstractLocated at the foot of Hangzhou's Mt Wushan and completed in 1874, the Hu Qing Yu Hall museum is one of the best-preserved commercial group of buildings dating back to the late Qing dynasty (1644-1911) in east China. It was originally an ancient pharmaceutical shop founded by merchant Hu Xueyan of the late Qing dynasty. It now includes five sections: an exhibition hall, a workshop for herbal medicine, an outpatient service, a medicinal-nutrition restaurant and a sales department.
