| Abstract | In almost every field of business, particularly here in Hong Kong, companies that were formerly local enterprises have entered the international arena (most often by setting up operations in China) and companies that used to be regional in scope are now operating on a worldwide basis. Most financial analysts agree that this trend will continue and grow. As Asian economies develop, the region is likely to become the major focal point of much of the world's business and financial activity; with Hong Kong as its largest financial services centre. |
