| Abstract | As noted in the Weekly Pacific Perspective - Wheel of Fortune, two of the key themes for Asian regional markets during the second quarter are weaknesses in the United States (US) bond market and signs of strength in the economies of Japan and China. The combination of firmer fundamental conditions and less impetus from the interest rate/liquidity nexus raises the thematic appeal of cyclical stocks, which is the focus of this commentary. |
