| Abstract | Nobody should feel surprised anymore to find a shop entirely staffed by mental patients, following the opening of "Circle T" at Kwai Chung Hospital in October 1994. Under the Supported Employment Service Scheme, the hospital tries to offer jobs to rehabilitated patients to help them reintegrate into society. The patient-operated convenience store is named Circle T. The shop gets its name form "OT", for Occupational Therapy, the name of the department in the hospital responsible for launching the scheme. |
