| Abstract | The newcomer to the world of audio is a slender, small diskette that looks just like a 3 1/2-inch computer diskette and costs a few dollars more. This latest invention from Japan, the mini-disc, was introduced to Hong Kong only few months ago. Light and conventient to carry, the mini-disc is an optical disc, like the popular compact disc. To listen to a mini-disc, one needs a mini-disc system or portable mini-disc player. These cost up to $5,000. |
