| Abstract | The programs of the American Chamber of Commerce frequently focus on Hong Kong and China, reflecting the interests of much of their membership. However, many of their members also have responsibility for all or part of the Asia/Pacific region. A substantial majority of American firms with regional headquarters in Asia have located those operations in Hong Kong. Over 400 US companies maintain a regional presence here, according to Hong Kong government estimates. |
