| Abstract | 1995 was an important landmark in the history of pharmacy and pharmacy education in Hong Kong, since the first batch of 31 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine graduated in July 1995. These graduates are Hong Kong's first group of home-grown prospective pharmacists who have completed their undergraduate programme of studies locally. They are now undergoing professional internship training in major Hospital Authority Pharmacy Departments, and 6 students have received additional training in a local pharmaceutical manufacturing company. |
