| Abstract | Backed-up to the KCR Kowloon Tong Station is the Hong Kong Industrial Technology Centre, which was built in 1994, had its official opening in March 1995, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit in the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) 1995 Annual Awards. The commission for the Centre was granted after holding a limited competition between four or five architectural firms invited to participate by the Hong Kong Industrial Technology Corporation Ltd., a semi-government body. |
