| Abstract | At a meeting of the CDC History Subject Committee (Secondary) held on 14th September 1993, the issue of whether the existing S4-5 syllabus should be revised was thoroughly discussed. The issues had arisen partly as a result of complaints made by some teachers about the length and coverage of the syllabus, and partly in view of the declining candidature for the subject. The above strategy and approach were accepted by the HKEA History Subject Committee (Secondary) at its meeting on 18th September 1993, and consequently a Joint Working group was formed. |
