| Abstract | Mandated to provide fair, balanced and objective news, public affairs and general programming to inform, educate and entertain the people of Hong Kong, RTHK has begun to stress its editorial independence, even though it remains a government department. There are those who disagree with this, however. They feel there is more to neutrality than simply soliciting a comment or interview from what might be termed an opposition source. Any media organization retains the power to frame the context in which such comments are used, and thereby adjust the sense. |
