| Abstract | China has 3,000 hotels with 450,000 rooms targeting foreign guests - 1,000 more hotels and 100,000 more beds than five years ago. Official figures show a dramatic increase in the tourism and hotel industries during the eighth Five-Year plan, the most dramatic growth of any sector. Annual turnover increased steadily, exceeding the most optimistic targets, spokesmen say. |
