| Abstract | A professional indemnity insurance scheme in the form of a master policy exclusively for members of Hong Kong Society of Accountants has been put together in December 1992 to cater for the incorporation. Up till now, the scheme has been running on the voluntary basis. The two pieces of legislation are expected to be made effective by the Secretary for Financial Services in early 1996. By then members who apply for incorporation are required to join the master policy and to produce an evidence of insurance in their application for incorporation. |
