| Abstract | Dengue fever, a tropical disease believed to be dispersed by mosquitoes, has recently afflicted both Taiwan and China. To eliminate this mosquito threat, people tend to resort to using enormous amount of insecticides. As a matter of fact, using insecticides should be the final step in exercising pest control. We should bear in mind that the stronger the insecticide is, or the longer its effectiveness can sustain, the more damage it could do to both human beings and the environment. For the sake of the environment and the health of your family, insecticides must be used with extreme caution. |
