| Abstract | Everyday Hong Kong people dispose of many as 15,000,000 plastic bags. These plastic bags prohibit water penetration, are hardly decomposable, and ceaselessly take up lots of precious space. Some manufacturers in China and overseas are therefore anxiously promoting degradable plastic material to replace the existing ones. But the question remains - can the use of these degradable plastic bags help to resolve the severe plastic waste floods in Hong Kong? |
