| Abstract | A meeting about Statement of Auditing Standards (SAS) 600 was held on Wednesday, 9 August. Over 50 SPC discussion group members attended. The findings of various discussion groups were reflected at the meeting. Mr Tommy Fung, Deputy director (Professional Standards) of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants, gave his views on the Statement. Mr Eric Li, council member, who attended the meeting in his own capacity, was also invited to share his views with participants. A summary of the deliberations at the meeting is reproduced in the article. |
