| Abstract | On 29 November 1995, the Airport Committee of the Joint Liaison Group signed an Agreed Minute on the Membership of the Airport Authority and the introduction of the Airport Authority (AA) Ordinance, paving the way for the announcement on the following day,in a Hong Kong Government Gazette Extraordinary, that on 1 December 1995 the PAA (Provisional Airport Authority) would be reconstituted as the AA. AA Chairman Mr Wong said that the great progress that has been made in developing the new airport will continue up to and beyond opening. |
